It was f antastic to meet the team at The Village Indiya Restaurant, 241-243 High Road, South Woodford which was recently voted one of the best curry houses at the annual Curry Life Awards.
The South Woodford eatery was among one of the best 22 curry restaurants and 8 best curry chefs from across the country given top recognition at a gala dinner and awards ceremony.
I'm delighted for Mr Alamin Khan, owner of Village Indiya and his team for winning such a prestigious award. This national recognition of a local restaurant will only enhance South Woodford’s reputation for good quality food. To be named as one of the best curry restaurants in the country is a remarkable achievement, and Village Indiya team should feel very proud.
