Cllr Roy Berg, has been integral in making sure the Grade-II listed Chingford War Memorial is kept clean, tidy and refurbished in honour of those who sacrificed so much for the country to ensure our heroes are never forgotten.
Last year we managed to get the council to replant the rose bushes and widen the entrance to the memorial. More recently, the council have repainted the names of the fallen soldiers on thememorial. We will continue to push the council to improve the memorial.
